Jeff: Something wrong, Mr. Clark?
なにかありましたか、クラークさん？
Mr.Clark: Yes. That quality control issue we had last month -- which we thought had been solved -- has come back again, tenfold! What's worse, defective units that were marked for destruction somehow found their way to market and now have to be recalled! When word gets out, guess who will come under attack.
ああ。我が社が先月抱えたあの品質管理の問題が――それは解決されていたと考えたのだが――また蒸し返された、10倍になって！　さらに悪いことに、廃棄するように目印をつけられた欠陥品が市場に出ていき、なんとかいま回収されなければならないとは！　情報が漏れたとき、誰が攻められるのかと思って。
Jeff: Well, let's hope a recall won't attract too much attention. But even if it does, you certainly don't deserve any blame, Mr. Clark. That would be someone in Quality Control, wouldn't it?

Mr.Clark: Yes, the two top people there: Harris and Lancaster. They stopped cooperating with each other. And this is the result.

Jeff: Ah, right. I heard that they were at odds with each other about something.
