1960年代中ごろ、ビートルズは英国の多くの音楽グループがいわゆる「ブリティッシュ・インベージョン」で世界的に有名になる道を切り開いた。

■ work together　　　協力して取り組む
In order to have any chance of winning the game, the team must work together as one.
その試合に勝つあらゆる機会を得るために、チームは一斉に協力して取り組まなければならない。

■ be content to do ～　　～することに不平がない；甘んじて～する
Harold is quite content to sit at home every evening and do nothing but eat chips and watch TV.
ハロルドは毎晩なにもせずに家にいて、ポテトチップスを食べてテレビをみることにすっかり甘んじている。

■ change one's mind　　　考えを変える
