I trust you and yours have enjoyed the holiday season in New York. I have certainly enjoyed mine with family and friends here in the Midwest.

However... once again, my travel plans are in danger of being shot down completely. Due to the ongoing blizzard, it looks increasingly like I shall not be returning to New York this week as planned, or possibly even next week if this weather continues.

Although a number of flights did get out this morning, in all, over 50 flights today were cancelled, including mine. I am having a very hard time trying to reschedule, and so far, my efforts have come to nothing. Even assuming the blizzard were over tomorrow, the long backup of flights poses another big problem, which will mean an additional delay.

In any case, though the picture looks bleak on my side with everything hinging on the weather, I simply would like to say that I will keep trying.

So, see you next week? Or the week after? Or possibly... in June?
