ジェフ、「会社への提案」のリストを読んだところだよ。それで、申し訳ないがどれも快く思わないといわざるを得ない！　たとえば、最初のをあげると：「従業員は90分の昼休みと、もっと有給休暇が与えられるべきだ」?!

Jeff: Oh, ummm ...
あっ、えーと……。

Mr. Clark: And here's another: "The CEO's company car should be taken away and sold in order to help cut costs" ?! Well I'm sorry but this is NOT an issue! I need my company car and that's just the way it is!
それにもう一つ。「CEOの社用車は廃止し、経費削減に寄与するように売却されるべきだ」?!　ところで残念だがこれが問題とされるべきではない！　私は社用車が必要だ。だって、そういうものだろう！

Jeff: I see. But Mr. Clark ...
なるほど。でもクラークさん……。

Mr. Clark: And this one REALLY takes the cake! "To increase company revenues, we should turn the whole first floor into an Italian restaurant" ?!! What were you thinking, Jeff? Do you really think these are worthwhile suggestions?!
それで中でもいちばん最低なのはこれだ！　「会社の総売上を増やすため、一階全部をイタリアンレストランに変えるべきだ」?!!　何を考えていたんだ、ジェフ？　これらは価値のある提案だと本当に考えているのか?!!

Jeff: Well ... no. I didn't submit them.
あの……いいえ。僕はそれらを提出していません。

Mr. Clark: ... You didn't? Well then who did?
……君は提出していない？　じゃあ、誰がした？

Jeff: Let's see. The name should be on here somewhere. Ah, here it is. Peter Black. Peter Black? Isn't he your nephew, Mr. Clark?
えっと。名前はここのどこかにあるはず。あっ、ここにあった。ピーター・ブラックだ。ピーター・ブラック？　甥御さんじゃないですか、クラークさん？

Mr. Clark: ... Never mind.
