Jeff: You could say that. I just had a talk with the boss. He was sounding me out on some company issues.
（その通りだよ。ちょっと上司と話をしたから。幾つかの会社の課題について僕の考えを探られたところだったんだ）。

Noriko: Really? Like what?
（本当に？　どの様なこと？）

Jeff: Well, he said he's decided to call on ME to make some big changes!
（そうだな、幾らか大きな変革をするように僕に求めることにしていると言っていたよ！）

Noriko: What kind of "big changes"?
（どんな類の「大きな変革」かしら？）

Jeff: When I asked him that, he asked ME what they should be.

Noriko: What did you say?

Jeff: Well, I said that maybe we should put more emphasis on stepping up sales. But he said that's not enough. We need to do more! So, I have to hand him a report by Monday morning. I have no idea what to say.
